The 100th Issue of Bamboo Ridge Press is finally here! Featuring over one hundred pieces by local writers, this hallmark issue has been a labor of love for editors Eric Chock and Darrell Lum. It’s a landmark of how long Bamboo Ridge has been giving platform to local voices and an example of the creative diversity in our island community. There are pieces by old favorites like Lois Ann Yamanaka, Lee Cataluna and Lee Tonouchi, plus so many more.

With poetry, short stories, essays and flash fiction, Issue 100 is an experience of local literature that you won’t find anywhere else. There are amazing writers contributing to this issue so come out to a few of the launch events and meet them or get books signed. There are three free events open to the public, and one very exciting Wine and Words where proceeds go to keeping Bamboo Ridge going strong. Join us for some outstanding local lit–a few laughs, a couple of tears and a whole lot of aloha.
