It’s time…it’s time…it’s Book End Time! Welcome to this week’s Book End, highlighting the week’s literary and library events here in Hawaii.

Ongoing:

The Borders liquidation sale is still ongoing, with discounted prices up to 40% off.  The last time we visited Borders Ward (on Wednesday), the majority of the Hawaiiana section was still intact, with the biggest sellers being cookbooks, hiking, and other hobby books.  At 10% off, the Hawaiiana is still priced very highly and may not fly off the shelves until they drop the price further.  Last we checked Literature was 10% off, History and Biographies were 20% off, and magazines and Blu-Ray discs were 40% off.

Saturday, July 30
