“The Creativity Salon” is a half hour television show airing on local public access television, OAHU 52.  It was created by host Neil Tepper as a communications program to “celebrate the creative arts and the art of living a creative life.”  Tepper is also author of the book Prescriptions for Living a Creative Life: Simple Remedies for Common Maladies in our 24/7 World, which we reviewed here.

Episodes tend to air roughly once a month and, among other creative individuals, will occasionally feature Hawaii authors in the interview chair.  On the most recent show, Neil Tepper spoke with local author and former lifeguard, John R.K. Clark whose most recent reference book, Hawaiian Surfing: Traditions from the Past (UH Press, 2011), has been making waves [read our review of Hawaiian Surfing here].

A new episode of “The Creativity Salon” airs tonight (Friday, September 2) at 8pm on OAHU Channel 52.
